Requirements for Rexroth Vane Pumps

1. Speed Requirements

• Too low: The pump cannot press the vanes against the stator, preventing pressure buildup.

• Too high: May cause cavitation due to insufficient oil intake.

2. Contamination Sensitivity

• More sensitive than gear pumps; use a 30μm inlet filter to prevent debris damage.

Common Issues & Solutions for Leak-Free Inlet Pipe Installation

1. Low Oil Level → Refill the tank.

2. CLogged Inlet Pipe/Filter → Clean or replace.

3. Air Leak in Suction Chamber

• Check for cracks, loose fittings, or damaged seals.

• Replace defective pump bodies or tighten connections.

4. Stuck or Broken Vanes

• Ensure vane-to-slot clearance (0.015–0.02mm) and deburr edges.

5. Worn/Damaged Valve Plate → Resurface or replace.

7. Excessive Oil Viscosity → Use recommended 2.5–5°E50 viscosity oil.

8. Missing/Sheared Drive Key → Reinstall or replace.

6. Clogged Inlet → Clean filters/replace oil.
